Residents ask Beach commissioners to address flooding issue

There’s an interesting discussion thread on our blog post on the South Beach flood that happened in early June and the $1 million, city-funded storm-water drainage study. The most recent comment, from Drew, is linked here and suggests that representatives of the “City have been spending too much time on issues related to tennis courts and pink park benches and arbitrary ratios that determine how much of your house or building you can construct and in what style,” instead of solving this problem.

Drew also says the study will take about five months to complete.

The entire discussion is worth a look.
