We had a tough day already on the Venetian Causeway, with half the easternmost bridge closed this morning for roadwork.
Tonight is expected to be even more crowded, with President Obama’s visit causing the MacArthur Causeway to be closed for an undetermined period of time as he travels from Emilio and Gloria Estefan’s Star Island home to another event at the Arsht Center.
With the MacArthur closed, lots of Miami Beach commuters will use the Venetian in both directions.
Time for everybody to stop for a beverage on the Miami side before trying to get home to the beach.
